Most business travelers are the envy of their friends and family because of their glamorous lifestyle. Little do they know how stressful being on the road is (and they certainly don't believe us when we try to tell them otherwise!). Eating out constantly sounds divine until you're faced with poor menu choices and are loading up on fat and sodium-filled foods three times a day. Did I mention the ensuant bloating and constant weight fluctuation when you try to return to "normal" during your down time?
Speaking of time, it can become a very elusive specter when you're trying to balance planes, trains and automobiles, long working hours and demands from all directions. What happens to exercise? What happens to "me time"? Energy? And slowly your own good self slips down the totem pole of priorities.
It doesn't have to be like that. Despite the constraints of frequent travel, there is a way to eat well, exercise, lose or maintain weight, have way more energy and enjoy a constant state of well being while seamlessly and effortlessly transitioning from hotel to home. You can "have it all."
